ApprentiTN

ApprentiTN is a technology apprenticeship program created by the Nashville Technology Council.  It is open to all persons, but actively recruits military Veterans and spouses.  ApprentiTN uses an on-line assessment tool to vet potential applicants.  The link to the assessment is on the ApprentiTN. Google IT Support Professional Certificate

Google offers an on-line training program that leverages the Coursera online learning platform; this program prepares individuals for entry level roles in IT support.  Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee has partnered with Google and Coursera to provide this course for free (subject to certain qualifications).  You can also take the course independently of Goodwill at your own cost.  Goodwill also offers free Microsoft Office Specialist certification classes.
