The first annual Columbia Heroes Breakfast served as a strong reminder of the significance of September 11th for all of us. We united to honor the memory of the lives lost, the heroes who bravely faced danger, and the service members who steadfastly safeguard our freedom.
We are deeply grateful to our Colonel Sponsors—Ascend Federal Credit Union, Bob Woodruff Foundation, and United Communications—for making this event possible.
Huge thanks to Scott Brower for introducing our guest of honor and speaker, Mario V., whose impactful words highlighted the resilience, sacrifice, and unity that characterize this day of remembrance.
We extend our gratitude to Maury County Mayor Shelia Butt and Columbia Mayor Chaz Molder for their leadership, dedication to the community, and support in honoring our heroes. We also express our sincere appreciation to our gracious hosts at The Mule House in Columbia, Tennessee, for facilitating the gathering of our community on this significant day.
This year’s gathering was truly special—and we’re already looking forward to bringing our community together again for next year’s Columbia Heroes Breakfast.
